I went to HS with Elaine. We performed at a talent show (a Kenny Rankin tune)and it was a blast. She's a natural and I'm glad to call her a friend.

John Solan

I love the warm honey sound of Elaine's voice - it always seems perfectly relaxed and at home in any song she sings. There is the feeling of effortlessness about her music that is mesmerizing and very satisfying. Her choice of tunes is clearly personal and unique, and her treatment of them seems to come from having lived the meaning of the lyrics. She has a cool, rhythmic groove that connects with her instrumental collaborators in an easy unaffected way. Look at this photo - she sounds as classy as she looks.

I saw her in Concord a while back and became a fan instantly. Elaine Lucia send me sweet and down low into groovedom and makes my short list with Ella and the rest, every time - a songbird lyrical who can swing, with taste and a fine backup group.

Elaine Lucia is an exquisite singer...exquisite. The musicians she performs and records with are nothin' but fine, fine, fine. Always a delightful earful no matter the venue. I'm a fan!

San Francisco After hearing Elaine sing both at Yoshi's in San Francisco and at a tiny cafe in the Mission, the only comment I can make is "WOW! my kind of Jazz!" I only wish she would accept more gigs in The City so I could hear her more often!

Srah Taber

I met and saw Elaine Lucia sing for the first time when she opened for Michael Bolton in Yountville and I can tell you that I was mesmerized when I saw her. She has an angelic voice and the day after the concert my daughter and I rode up 101 north thru the redwoods and I just got lost in the beauty of her voice. she also has great stage presence and she is very sensuous. I could not take my ears or my eyes off of her thru her whole performance. What more can I say? you will be thrilled that you went to see her.
