Elaine founded, fronts and books the Elaine Lucia Sextet, and continues to perform with them regularly throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Started in the early 1990’s, the band has released three jazz CDs and performed countless shows together. The repertoire consists of Jazz and Contemporary originals: everything from standards to bossa nova and sambas, to contemporary jazz and jazzy arrangements of pop, folk or even classical songs. The band is comprised of Jonathan Alford on Piano, Pierre Archain on Upright Bass, Alan Hall on Drums, Randy Vincent on Guitar, Gerry Grosz on Vibes, and Elaine on Vocals.
